Families with younger children
Easter holidays
Nepal – Family Multi-Activity Holiday – trek in the Annapurna foothills, relax in the popular tourist area of Pokhara, go white water rafting and ride elephants on safari in Chitwan. For ages 5+
Christmas holidays:
Morocco – Family Camel Trek, Essaouria and Marrakesh – a huge cultural experience suitable for all ages, and only a short flight from the UK.
Families with teenagers
The following treks are suitable for families with teenagers, depending on the ages and travel / walking experience. Please contact us to discuss the trips that are most suitable for your family.
Easter holidays:
Nepal – Annapurna Sanctuary – visit Kathmandu and Pokhara. This trek is a fantastic first Himalayan trek for agest 14+ passing through authentic Nepalese villages and farmland, moving through several climatic zones to a Himalayan ampitheatre surrounded by 6000, 7000 and 8000m peaks – awesome!
Nepal – Everest Highlights – trek this historic route to see Mt Everest, visit the Buddhist monastry at Thyangboche and explore the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar.

India – Singalila Ridge – see Everest, Kangchenjunga, Darjeeeling and Delhi on this trip which is a great introduction to Himalayan trekking.
Summer holidays:
Italy – Alta Via 1 – spectacular and educational hut to hut walking in the Dolomites visiting WW1 open air museum, finding eidelweiss and a great chance to practice Italian or German.
Italy – Dolomites Tre Cime – easier trekking than the AV1 staying in mountain huts, looking for marmots, foxes and chamois.
Italy – WW1 Discovery Trek – bring history to life and a chance to improve your Italian and German language skills at the same time.
Italy – Dolomites Day Walks – stay in a comfortable hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo, and enjoy a variety of easy/moderate day walks in the mountains Messner describes as “the most beautiful mountains in the world”.
East Africa – Mt Kenya – Did you know the closest living relative to the elephant lives on Mt Kenya, but is small and furry? Trek up to the second highest peak in Africa, with chance to see animals and flowers found only in this part of the world.
