Kendal Mountain Festival 2015

Kendal Mountain Festival LogoWe’ll once again be at the Kendal Mountain Festival
20 – 22 November 2015.

Our stand will be in the re-vamped Base Camp Marquee which will be on the car park next to the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal. Entrance to the Base Camp Marquee is FREE, so why not come and meet us in person and discuss where you would like to go trekking. Many of our treks can be tailored for your group – whether there are 2 of you or 50 of you.

We’ll be running a competition to win a £200 discount off your next trek.

Base Camp Marquee opening hours:

Friday 20 Nov             9.30am to 7pm

Saturday 21 Nov        9.30am to 7pm

Sunday 22 Nov          10am to 5pm

The World Is With You Nepal We are donating part of our stand to a this brand new charity which is being set up to support Nepalese villages following the earthquakes earlier this year. Come along to find out how you can make a big difference to the lives of Nepalese so badly affected by the earthquake. There will be lots of events supporting Nepal at the festival.

Formerly known as the Kendal Mountain Film Festival, Kendal’s world-renowned mountain festival boasts something for all who love the mountains – speakers, activities, films and everything mountain-related.

The new Basecamp Village has been revamped for this year, and will the social hub of the festival as well as providing a Festival Information service.
It will be located next to the Brewery where the main screenings will take place.
Blacks will have a shop there too, but don’t forget to find out who else is in the BaseCamp Village!
This year there will be loads of free events in the Basecamp village – check out the programme here
This year the Basecamp Village will be a place to hang out, relax, have some refreshment, listen to talks, and, of course, come and chat to us!

Speakers include an all-star cast of Kenton Cool, Andy Kirkpatrick, Leo Houlding, Andy Cave, Sir Chris Bonington, Catherine Destivelle, Neil Gresham, Mike ‘Twid’ Turner, Heather Geluk, Jenny Jones, Tashi Sherpa and many more.
